Lanie Learns to Code

Lanie and her best friend, Charlie, are excited about learning the technology of coding. Can they accomplish the task of creating their first startup-and help their local community along the way? And what does all this have to do with Lanie's missing dog?

About the Author: Helena Ingram wrote "Lanie Learns to Code" during her senior year of high school. She wrote this book in hopes of encouraging young girls to become interested in STEM. She started coding when she was fourteen years old, and has loved it ever since. Her favorite experience with coding so far, has been volunteering to teach coding classes at Mount Auburn Elementary School. It was the wonderful students and faculty at this school that inspired her to write this book.
